Heard is seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience to spearhead the development of the financial back-office for therapists, focusing on crafting and enhancing the Heard API and backend infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or with languages such as Typescript.
• Proven experience building complex systems and making decisions on scope, architecture, feasibility, and tradeoffs.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and taking a feature from idea to production.
• Observant and detail-oriented.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-structured code and discuss architectural implementations.
• Business-minded, considering the business impact when solving technical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for teaching.
• Comfortable with providing and receiving feedback.
• Experience in FinTech or with products handling financial information.
