Overview

The Training Specialist will develop and deliver high-quality, learner-centered instruction to promote competence, compliance, and confidence among all Social Care Network (SCN) stakeholders.

In Short

  • Develop, update, and deliver engaging training curricula for diverse SCN roles.
  • Facilitate live (in-person and virtual) and asynchronous training sessions.
  • Tailor training content for various roles within organizations.
  • Provide ongoing technical training assistance and refresher training.
  • Maintain and improve training materials and support the Learning Management System.
  • Track training attendance and gather feedback to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in training practices.
  • Respond to partner and staff training inquiries.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in public health, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in training or instructional delivery.
  • Familiarity with care-coordination platforms preferred.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of adult learning methods.
  • Ability to translate complex systems into accessible training.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with virtual training platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
