Overview

The Sales Specialist is responsible for the support and management of sales operations and strategies to drive revenue growth. This person will be a key sales team member that will work cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders to support, develop, and execute sales activities for health plans and health system clients.

In Short

  • Support with the development of our new business pipeline, managing both early and late-stage opportunities across markets
  • Support the sales team to manage leads from prospect identification to closure, including proposal development, technical writing, packaging to delivery
  • Support and administer payer and health system sales pipeline growth and effective execution to close new business
  • Understand the competitive landscape, market insights, and effectively communicate across key internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop engaging and visually appealing sales presentations with the sales representatives for their use with client and prospect work
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting on sales performance metrics, top-down and bottom-up forecasting, benchmarks, trends, and ad hoc analyses
  • Support in sales analytics to support quarterly sales forecasts, quota setting, and sales deployment decisions
  • Work with the Chief Growth Officer to improve, develop, and document sales policies, processes, procedures, and tools that maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales data
  • Partner with Marketing to support lead generation, promotional activities, and development of client marketing and sales collateral
  • Participate in sales conferences and manage exhibits and related logistics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field required
  • 2 years of sales support experience in the Healthcare industry required
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is required
