Overview

The Senior Advisor, Health Care and Life Sciences at Harvard Innovation Labs is responsible for supporting and mentoring students, alumni, and affiliated founders in the health care & life sciences sector, overseeing advising and programming to inform the community about opportunities and challenges in building new ventures.

In Short

• Serve as primary advisor for health care & life sciences teams.
• Develop and deliver programming and workshops.
• Manage and oversee HIL offerings in health care & life sciences.
• Build innovation ecosystems within the Harvard community.
• Network with external stakeholders in the health care and life sciences community.
• Support activities at Harvard’s biotech and life sciences labs.
• Mentor startups and students.
• Facilitate collaborations among Harvard schools and hospitals.
• Conduct reviews of student membership applications.
• Foster relationships with investors and entrepreneurs.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in health care and/or biotech.
• Experience leading or growing a health care startup.
• Strong network in health care and life sciences.
• Experience mentoring startups and students.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Higher education experience is a plus.
