Overview

Handshake is seeking an Account Manager to join our Employer Sales Team in the Mid Market Segment, focusing on driving early talent recruiting strategies for top employers across the nation.

In Short

  • Manage a book of existing employer partners to drive renewals and expansions.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives at partner organizations.
  • Conduct on-site visits to high-value customers at least three times a quarter.
  • Collaborate with the Employer Customer Success Team to ensure customer success.
  • Present data-driven Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Assist in developing scalable account management tools.
  • Learn and become an expert in HR and higher education technology.
  • Creatively solve complex customer problems.
  • Engage customers in Handshake events and marketing materials.
  • Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in business closing, either new acquisition or existing contracts.
  • Prior TA or HR experience preferred.
  • Experience working with C-Suite and VP Level Executives.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to understand and recommend strategies to drive customer success.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing projects end to end.
  • Open-minded and creative approach to solving customer challenges.
  • Superior collaboration skills across teams.
