Overview

Handshake is hiring a Senior Operations Specialist reporting to the Senior Operations Manager on the Global Support Team. You’ll report directly into the Global Support org and will develop, maintain, and implement tooling, integrations, technology, and infrastructure that supports our Global Support and Trust and Safety teams.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain tooling and integrations for Global Support and Trust & Safety teams.
  • Create and maintain Looker reports and dashboards.
  • Enhance Zendesk through triggers, automations, and optimizations.
  • Work with various tech stacks including Zendesk, Calendly, and Salesforce.
  • Support Ops strategy, metrics, and SOPs for internal teams.
  • Handle a fast-paced queue of Linear requests.
  • Partner with multiple teams to streamline operations.
  • Contribute to customer experience and reporting improvements.
  • Participate in project automation and AI tool development.
  • Possibility for annual travel to San Francisco, CA.

Requirements

  • 2+ years Zendesk Admin experience.
  • 1+ year in an enterprise support or customer-facing role.
  • Located in PST or MST zones.
  • Customer-first mindset with empathy for customer needs.
  • Ability to handle incidents and manage complex tech stacks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Independent and able to work with minimal assistance.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Resilience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to travel once a year for onsite meetings.
