In Short

• Halcyon is hiring a full-time Technical Writer to own all customer-facing and developer-facing documentation.
• You will build a best-in-class documentation program covering agent deployment, features, API, and more.
• Responsibilities include establishing documentation strategy and creating user guides, tutorials, and API docs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to translate complex concepts into clear content.
• Ensure timely release of documentation aligned with marketing and support messaging.
• Collect and implement customer feedback to improve documentation clarity.
• Administer authoring and publishing tools that support versioning and CI/CD workflows.
• Maintain Halcyon’s brand voice in all content.
• 5+ years of experience in writing documentation for SaaS or cybersecurity products.
• Familiarity with security concepts and documentation tools is essential.

Requirements

• 5+ years writing developer or product documentation for SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise software.
• Familiarity with security domains and concepts.
• Portfolio demonstrating clear, structured documentation.
• Expertise in Markdown, Git, and static-site generators.
• Strong information architecture and UX mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and interviewing skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to set strategy and deliver results.
• Experience with endpoint security or anti-ransomware products is a plus.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation is beneficial.
• Background in developer advocacy or producing tutorials is a plus.
