System Support Administrator - Remote

Overview

As the System Support Administrator for Gurobi Optimization, your responsibilities will revolve around maintaining and optimizing computer systems and servers. You will conduct regular maintenance activities, install hardware and software, and ensure the smooth operation of Gurobi's IT infrastructure.

In Short

• Provide end-user systems support across the business.
• Support Mac and Windows laptops, peripherals, and monitors.
• Perform tasks such as provisioning new systems and addressing break/fix issues.
• Maintain core security and login infrastructure using Single Sign-On (SSO) systems.
• Create and update documentation and processes to support the company's growth.
• Build and adapt tools to support the fleet of end-user systems.
• Contribute to a secure environment and protection of sensitive data.
• Manage, update, and provide centralized user accounts for end-user infrastructure.
• Conduct passive and active security training for users.
• Respond to security incidents by conducting investigations and taking appropriate actions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing support for Linux, Mac, and Windows.
• Proficient in managing software licensing for end-user systems.
• Familiarity with centralized management systems such as Endpoint Central and MS365.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
• Highly organized with excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with remote teams.
• Maintains a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities.
