System Administrator - Remote

Overview

MetaPhase is seeking a System Administrator with 3+ years of experience to support government applications by securing, sustaining, and improving the underlying systems in a cloud environment. This role involves a combination of traditional server administration and forward-leaning DevOps practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in System Administration.
• U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS).
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Strong Windows Server administration skills including PowerShell and batch files.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles such as continuous improvement, automation, CI/CD, and “shift left”.
• Ability to remediate security findings related to network and software configurations.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to write documentation for various audiences.
