As a Billing Support Specialist at Grow Therapy, you will be at the forefront of our mission to make high-quality mental healthcare accessible and affordable. You will serve as a passionate advocate for both our Clients and Therapists, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their journey with us.

In Short

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues Clients and Therapists raise via Phone.
• Dig deep into problems to help identify root causes and work with our Product teams to improve the platform overall.
• Assist and educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform, providing great customer service.
• Serve as the customer’s go-to resource and passionate advocate.
• Work independently and remotely, adapting to changing priorities.
• Meet quantitative metrics, including the number of conversations worked on per day.
• Drive impact within the mental healthcare landscape.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

• One year of experience with insurance across multiple commercial & government payers.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/ CPT codes preferable in mental health.
• Experience working within Claim MD or Availty verifying benefits.
• Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Natural curiosity about health tech and problem-solving.
• Work ethic defined by kindness and empathy.
• Successful working independently and remotely.
• Comfortable meeting quantitative metrics.
• Excited about contributing to our startup’s growth.
• Bonus points for customer-facing experience in US Healthcare.
