Software Engineer - Geo - Remote

Overview

GroundTruth seeks a Software Engineer to join our Geo team, responsible for ingesting Geo data and building APIs to integrate with various platforms.

In Short

• Create and maintain ingestion pipelines for the GroundTruth platform.
• Build infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Client Services teams.
• Prepare detailed specifications and low-level design.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Test products in controlled situations before going live.
• Maintain applications post-launch.
• Contribute ideas to improve the location platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or equivalent in computer science.
• 3-4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience with GIS and POI/Location data ingestion.
• Experience with AWS services for Data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Python/Java.
• Experience in writing analytical queries using SQL.
• Experience in Airflow and Docker.
• Proficient in Git.
