DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at GroundTruth, you will be responsible for increasing the velocity of engineering teams by creating and deploying new stacks, services, and automations, while collaborating with software engineering to improve infrastructure and operational activities.

In Short

• Create and deploy new stacks and services.
• Improve tooling and automate processes.
• Manage user access to services via AWS IAM and other tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical issues.
• Plan and monitor cloud infrastructure.
• Design monitoring dashboards and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineering on feature releases.
• Respond to incidents and conduct impact analysis.
• Work in a geographically distributed company.
• Adhere to security best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps supporting engineering teams.
• 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS technologies (IAM, EC2, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and microservices.
• Proficiency with Github and AWS CLI.
• Experience in Python, Bash/Shell, Go, or Terraform.
• Experience with automation tools like Saltstack.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Linux administration experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
