Senior Commercial Counsel - Remote

In Short

• Review, advise, and negotiate a variety of enterprise b2b agreements.
• Support Grafana Labs sales and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business teams on legal matters.
• Assist in creating and improving form agreements and playbooks.
• Contribute to the development of workflows and processes for the legal team.
• Assist with global expansion efforts around Go-To-Market.
• Create and present training materials to business teams.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
• Experience with Data Protection Laws is required.

Requirements

• JD / US law degree and bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years of technology related commercial legal experience.
• 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Sound commercial acumen and risk management skills.
• Significant experience with Data Protection Laws.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Creative and analytical thinking.
• Experience with open-source licensing is a plus.
