Senior Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join us on a 12-month contract as an independent contractor to manage and support a large volume of commercial transactions and provide legal support.

In Short

• Manage commercial transactions including RFPs/RFIs, NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and Vendor agreements.
• Draft and negotiate professional services agreements and other commercial agreements.
• Improve and maintain agreement templates and legal documents.
• Act as a business partner for Sales, HR, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
• Contribute to other legal projects as needed.

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice law.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial transaction and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy laws in the SaaS industry.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Capacity to handle high-volume, rapid cycles, and multiple assignments.
• Team attitude and pragmatic approach to legal issues.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and similar tools.
• High level of personal integrity and professionalism.
• Fluency in another European language is a plus.
