Overview

GoodLeap is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing team of backend and frontend engineers driving innovation in climate-impacting home improvement finance.

• Lead and grow a diverse, distributed engineering team (11+ engineers).

• Represent the engineering team in leadership discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Proven experience designing and scaling cloud-native systems.
• Experience building and running payments platforms.
• Strong familiarity with technologies such as Node.js, .NET, TypeScript, React, REST, GraphQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated success building diverse, high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to conduct technical reviews and support hands-on debugging.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
