Overview

As a Lead Automation Infrastructure Engineer at Gong, you will establish and lead our test automation infrastructure and practices across the organization, designing scalable frameworks and collaborating across engineering functions.

• Design and implement test automation frameworks aligned with our tech stack.
• Drive automation infrastructure initiatives including environment management.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, SREs, and DevOps.
• Evaluate and introduce AI-based testing tools.
• Own and manage test infrastructure on AWS.

• Lead automation best practices and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong programming skills (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
• Experience with modern automation frameworks like Cypress and Playwright.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Solid background in AWS and test environment management.
• Experience with test data management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI-powered testing tools (an advantage).
• Background in SaaS and/or enterprise B2B products (an advantage).
