Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will lead teams in delivering key infrastructure-related engineering activities, coordinating across various disciplines and ensuring effective integration with stakeholders.

In Short

• Lead multi-discipline engineering coordination and chair design reviews.
• Develop and manage Nuclear Infrastructure Design Substantiation suite.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Produce Examination, Inspection, Maintenance & Testing schedules.
• Engage with nuclear safety governance and present substantiations.
• Review and approve contractor reports and conduct Independent Technical Assessments.
• Contribute to Periodic Reviews of Safety for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Solid understanding of High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems.
• Experience in electrical engineering projects, ideally in industrial or maritime environments.
• Skilled in assessing electrical plant for hazard resilience.
• Ability to author technical justifications for design modifications.
• Familiarity with industrial systems such as pumps, generators, HVAC.
• Experience in multi-discipline projects within defence or maritime sectors.
