Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rail industry Risk Manager to work with Network Rail on the Transpennine Route Upgrade project for a 6 months period. The role involves providing leadership and guidance in risk management, ensuring compliance with procedures, and promoting a culture of risk management across the project.

In Short

• Work on the Transpennine Route Upgrade project for 6 months.
• 3 days per week office presence, 2 days remote.
• Provide leadership in risk management.
• Deliver Level 1 Assurance activities.
• Manage specialist risk support services.
• Promote risk management culture across the project.
• Monitor compliance with Network Rail procedures.
• Drive the implementation of ER&VM framework.
• Maintain a view of required levels of risk services.
• Manage external risk support delivery.

Requirements

• Suitable Rail and Risk Management background.
• Expert in project and business risk management facilitation.
• Able to build risk models in various applications.
• Able to coach and challenge management on risk results.
• Knowledge of risk management techniques.
• Knowledge of project management and control processes.
