Overview

The Employee Relations Specialist supports a multi-site workforce across retail, operations, and warehouse teams by managing day-to-day employee relations casework, ensuring consistent policy application, maintaining accurate documentation, and using data to improve ER programs. This role partners closely with the Sr. Manager, ER, site managers and HRBPs, escalates higher-risk matters appropriately, and helps protect both employee experience and company compliance.

In Short

  • Own compliance training accountability, tracking completion and reporting.
  • Manage offboarding tickets for separations, ensuring process accuracy.
  • Conduct exit interviews and escalate complex matters.
  • Perform ER administrative work, including data pulls and reporting.
  • Handle low-stakes investigations and escalate high-risk matters.
  • Support performance management and documentation guidance.
  • Manage attendance tracking and reporting trends.
  • Administer metrics-based Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Administer disciplinary action processes ensuring compliance.
  • Support accommodation requests with relevant documentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Employee Relations or HR.
  • Working knowledge of ER fundamentals and documentation standards.
  • Ability to triage risk and apply policy consistently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong operational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and HR systems.
  • Experience managing cases in HR Acuity (nice to have).
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (nice to have).
