Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing systems, while working independently across various customer sites.

In Short

  • Work schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 2pm to 11pm
  • Compensation: $20 - $27 per hour
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Provide technical support and repairs for high-speed paper handling machines
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Travel to customer sites may be required
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and training

Requirements

  • Education in electro-mechanics or related field
  • 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office
  • Logical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electric schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with AC/DC power distribution and circuitry
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
  • Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at job sites
  • Must be available for on-call rotation
  • Must live within a reasonable commute from assigned territory
