Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installation, testing, analyzing, maintaining, repairing, and training on Syntegon products at customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting business growth.

In Short

• Provide turnkey support for machine installations and maintain necessary documentation.
• Update and modify control software at customer sites.
• Work in a cleanroom environment and maintain flexibility for travel.
• Approximately 75% travel required, primarily in the Northeast USA.
• Engage in ongoing training to maintain technical expertise.
• Process detailed expense and trip reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or 5+ years experience in the Packaging Industry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Valid Driver's license and must be within driving distance to customers in PA, NY, and NJ.
• Submit to safety, background, and drug/alcohol testing.
