Program Manager - Remote

Overview

The Program Manager at GitLab is a highly visible and customer-facing position responsible for overseeing and managing customer programs and a portfolio of projects within the Professional Services organization. This role involves ensuring the successful delivery of client projects while providing strategic guidance to both the team and the customer.

In Short

• Lead delivery of multi-workstream professional services engagements.
• Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Develop a delivery methodology using agile and project management best practices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and gain approval on project milestones.
• Create program level RACI chart and success criteria.
• Define program strategy including scope, timeline, and resources.
• Assist in executing quarterly OKRs for project optimization.
• Work closely with Engagement Managers for larger customer programs.
• Communicate program roadmap, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage budgets and timelines for long-term projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency with forecasting and reporting metrics.
• Ability to lead Project Management Program Level meetings.
• Experience in managing inter-connected projects.
• Ability to develop long-term plans in collaboration with customers.
• GitLab Project Management Certified within 2 months of the role.
