Professional Services Program Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Professional Services Program Manager at GitLab, you will lead the delivery of complex, multi-workstream services engagements for some of our largest and most strategic customers. You will help customers turn transformation goals into clear execution plans by bringing structure, visibility, and accountability across interconnected projects.

In Short

• Lead delivery of multi-workstream professional services engagements for large and strategic customers.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive leaders and program managers.
• Develop and apply a delivery methodology using agile and project management best practices.
• Create and communicate program roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and secure approval on major milestones and decisions.
• Define program strategy including business justification and success criteria.
• Establish core program structures such as RACI charts and communication plans.
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts for assigned programs.
• Lead change management activities across programs.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers to improve project management processes.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex programs with multiple interdependent projects.
• Strong skills in program planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Top Secret Security Clearance a plus.
• PMI Certification(s) or similar industry certifications a plus.
• Ability to manage long-term project budgets and schedules.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with customers.
• Working knowledge of agile and project management approaches.
• Ability to develop long-term plans for customer adoption and transformation.
• Domain familiarity with data migrations or software implementations.
• Continuous improvement mindset and comfort leading program-level meetings.
