In Short

  • Mid-market Account Executives are the primary point of contact between prospective and existing customers of GitLab.
  • Manage a broad book of business over a large opportunity value range.
  • Work closely with business development and sales management.
  • Contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses.
  • Document buying criteria and processes.
  • Provide account leadership in pre- and post-sales processes.
  • Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas.
  • Support GitLab for Mid Market prospects.
  • Take ownership of your book of business.
  • Contribute to documenting improvements in the sales handbook.

Requirements

  • Desire to see customers benefit from their investment.
  • Progressive experience with Software sales.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software.
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Ability to travel if needed.
