Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer at Gilat Satellite Networks, you will provide services and support for Gilat products and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

In Short

• Provide technical support to Gilat customers for various products.
• Perform software upgrades and onsite installations.
• Lead worldwide demos related to Gilat’s products.
• Conduct customer visits and provide analysis reports.
• Act as the point of contact for dedicated customers.
• Resolve customer service requests within SLA.
• Work with ERP systems like SAP and CRM.
• Must have experience in customer service engineering.
• Ability to work during weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with satellite communications and RF equipment.

Requirements

• B.E / B. Tech in Electronics / Communication Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Experience with remote connection tools.
• Advanced English level required.
• Working knowledge in TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to travel abroad if necessary.
• Familiarity with VSATs and satellite communications.
• Knowledge of RF equipment and testing tools.
• Familiarity with Cisco switches and routers is an advantage.
• Experience with DevOps and scripting languages is a plus.
