Overview

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software, ensuring smooth IT operations.

In Short

  • Respond to and resolve Service Desk tickets while maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Install, configure, move, and upgrade workstations (Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS).
  • Provide hardware/software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Onboard and offboard employees with IT equipment.
  • Support Google Workspace administration.
  • Maintain and support printers, scanners, and meeting rooms.
  • Track and manage IT asset inventory.
  • Manage corporate mobile devices' lifecycle.
  • Contribute to IT knowledge base and documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace administration.
  • Familiarity with network concepts.
  • Experience with LAN room infrastructure (a plus).
  • Audio/visual system experience (a plus).
  • Good understanding of technical products.
  • Experience in a technical or engineering organization is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
