Overview

The Associate, Compliance (KYC Onboarding) at Gemini will be responsible for performing customer onboarding and ensuring compliance with KYC regulations in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

In Short

• Perform institutional and retail customer onboarding using CDD and EDD strategies.
• Draft and send RFIs to customers as needed.
• Review escalated compliance issues.
• Identify and escalate potential red flags during onboarding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance issues.
• Facilitate customer account modifications.
• Conduct ad-hoc special projects as required.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial services, focusing on AML/CTF compliance.
• Strong understanding of KYC requirements.
• Experience in customer onboarding and risk assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record in high-growth environments.
• Willingness to assist in various compliance functions.
