Overview

The Lead, Regulatory Compliance (Credit Card) will be responsible for ensuring compliance with consumer finance regulations and managing compliance issues within the organization.

In Short

• Serve as the compliance subject matter expert in consumer finance regulation.
• Shape and execute the Compliance Management System (CMS).
• Supervise junior compliance team members.
• Drive remediation and testing plans for compliance issues.
• Lead monitoring and testing frameworks for regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on compliance policy issues.
• Collaborate with the Counsel team on regulatory trends.
• Manage responses to audits and regulatory examinations.
• Monitor operational processes for compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations affecting products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; Juris Doctor or CFE preferred.
• 6+ years in regulated finance or fintech with credit card compliance focus.
• Understanding of lending/credit financial services regulations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess risks in fast-paced environments.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Interest in building future compliance frameworks.
