Overview

The primary objective of the annual leadership giving manager is to manage Gamma Phi Beta’s charitable efforts with the goal of meeting the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation’s fundraising and funding goals. The annual leadership giving manager will work to identify, cultivate and steward mid-level donors with a primary objective of developing long-term relationships built on a firm understanding of how individual donor interests, passions and values align with the mission of the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. This fast-paced and dynamic role is an integral part of the Foundation team contributing to successful results and attainment of Foundation annual and strategic goals.

In Short

  • Assist with fostering a culture of charitable giving across the enterprise.
  • Develop strategies for identifying, cultivating and soliciting mid-level donors.
  • Serve as primary relationship manager for a large portfolio of assigned donors.
  • Create and implement personalized donor strategies.
  • Manage donor relationships primarily through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Develop familiarity with Foundation-funded programs.
  • Develop a ‘moves management’ program for mid-level donors.
  • Monitor activity to achieve revenue goals.
  • Track and report donor contact activity in the Foundation’s database.
  • Assist in developing plans to sustain and grow recurring gifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Professional and customer-service oriented manner.
  • Enjoys regular interaction with others.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel 3-5 times per year.

Benefits

  • Compensation commensurate with experience.
  • Hiring range of $55,000 to $60,000 annually.
