Fortrea is seeking a Business Development Director to support biotech accounts throughout EMEA, focusing on generating opportunities and nurturing client relationships to drive growth in this key segment.

In Short

  • Achieve annual sales plan and targets for assigned accounts.
  • Establish and nurture client relationships.
  • Develop account plans and partnerships with key accounts.
  • Provide weekly sales activity reports to management.
  • Follow up on leads and manage client expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal resources for superior customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize SFDC for managing communication and documentation.
  • Lead client presentations and maintain frequent contact.
  • Participate in corporate teams to build relationships.
  • Support an established client base and assist in proposal development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or business preferred.
  • Advanced industry knowledge required.
  • Demonstrated client retention and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient sales experience in pharmaceuticals and biotech.
  • Fluency in English and French required.
  • Ability to manage difficult client situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal management.
  • Experience in acquiring and growing a client base.
