Medical Director/Senior Medical Director - Ophthalmology - Remote

Overview

Fortrea is seeking a dedicated US remote based Medical or Senior Medical Director with expertise in ophthalmology and a background in cell gene therapy to provide medical direction for early clinical trials.

• Lead medical direction for early clinical trials.

• Prepare and review clinical trial documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key opinion leaders.
• Act as a subject matter expert in drug development.

Requirements

• MD Degree with relevant specialty training and active US MD license.
• 3+ years of experience in drug development and clinical research.
• Experience in medical monitoring or clinical trials at a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
• Recognized clinical research leader with substantial knowledge of drug development.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.
