Overview

The Spending Accounts Customer Service Specialist provides customer support and services to clients by completing tasks after interfacing with clients on the phone or through email. This role is responsible for day-to-day customer service and claims processing of Spending Account clients.

In Short

  • Adjudicate and process claims according to client, IRS and corporate standards.
  • Submit and resolve weekly client reimbursements (FSA, HRA, HSA).
  • Manage worksheets for online employee employer transactions.
  • Process In-House HRA manual claim submissions.
  • Enter employee enrollments and update critical information.
  • Handle Returned Debit Cards and process Consumer Repayments.
  • Communicate with clients and track issues via phone and email.
  • Create SPDs, NDTs and POP documents.
  • Perform regular audits and maintain quality work.
  • Assist with EDI feeds and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED; Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred.
  • One year of professional customer service experience.
  • Experience in benefits management, specifically Spending Accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated individual looking for personal and professional growth.
