Overview

The Spending Accounts Customer Service Specialist provides customer support and services to clients by completing tasks after interfacing with clients on the phone or through email, focusing on customer service and claims processing of Spending Account clients.

In Short

  • Adjudicate and process claims according to standards.
  • Submit and resolve client reimbursements.
  • Manage worksheets for transactions and reporting.
  • Process manual claim submissions.
  • Handle returned debit cards and repayments.
  • Communicate with clients and track issues.
  • Update participant information.
  • Perform regular audits for errors.
  • Issue Debit Cards as requested.
  • Assist with EDI feeds and other duties.

Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED; Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred.
  • At least one year of phone customer service experience.
  • Experience in benefits management or customer service preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for superior customer service.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Motivated individual looking to grow personally and professionally.
