Overview

The Compliance Specialist role focuses on support for internal staff, identifies compliance parameters for plans sponsored by employer clients, and provides other support for client employers and partner advisors.

• Serve as a compliance contact and resource for internal team.
• Manage or assist in managing Form 5500 filing services.
• Provide timely responses and research support for internal staff and client questions.
• Assist in reviewing and improving internal compliance processes.
• Prepare correspondence and coordinate calls with employer clients.
• Assist in providing updates and training on regulatory changes.
• Perform internal compliance work for various plans.
• Coordinate responsibilities with other Compliance Specialists.
• Stay up to date on industry developments.

Requirements

• Preferred, a graduate of a bachelor’s degree program but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective at individual or group presentations.
• Internally motivated individual looking to grow.
• Above average analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understand the value of providing high-level customer service.
