The Manager, Disaster Services – Preparedness plays a vital role in the development and execution of Feeding America’s disaster preparedness and capacity-building initiatives.

• Lead the implementation of disaster preparedness strategies.
• Support network members with technical assistance and resources.
• Promote community-focused preparedness planning.
• Manage grant responsibilities related to regional collaboratives.
• Leverage data for planning and evaluation.
• Convene collaborative calls and learning sessions.
• Plan and evaluate preparedness drills across the network.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in emergency management or disaster relief.
