Overview

As a Guest Operations Specialist, you will be the front line of our vacation rental guest experience, managing guest communications and ensuring five-star service delivery.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests across various channels.
  • Manage all communications throughout the guest journey.
  • Resolve complaints quickly and empathetically.
  • Handle booking changes, cancellations, and special requests proactively.
  • Ensure experiences that lead to positive reviews and repeat bookings.
  • Own the full reservation process, from confirmations to cancellations.
  • Convert inquiries into bookings by following up on leads.
  • Collaborate with cleaning crews and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence and bookings.
  • Compile and report on guest complaints and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Native-level written and verbal English.
  • 2+ years in guest services or hospitality roles.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and able to work remotely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset.
  • Experience with PMS platforms, preferably Guesty.
  • Skilled with booking platforms like Airbnb and VRBO.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools quickly.
  • Direct experience using Guesty PMS is preferred.
