Overview

Experian is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape the future of our enterprise-wide Data, Analytics, and AI/ML platform capabilities. This role focuses on building foundational capabilities that power data-driven and AI-enabled products across the organization.

In Short

• Architect and build core platform components for the data, analytics, and AI/ML lifecycle.
• Define solution architectures for internal platform capabilities.
• Lead build vs. buy evaluations for MLOps frameworks and AI development tools.
• Stay current with modern data and ML architectures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable enterprise-scale adoption of platform services.
• Guide platform integration with cloud services and observability stacks.
• Drive internal adoption by influencing engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data, analytics, or ML/AI platforms.
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks like Spark or Flink.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Track record of architectural leadership.
