Abnormal Security is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to spearhead the key initiatives owned by the Data Platform team, focusing on building scalable storage systems and improving operational excellence.

In Short

  • Shape the Data Platform architecture and roadmap.
  • Deep dive into product workflows and recommend trade-offs.
  • Act as the technical lead of the team.
  • Experience in building data intensive, distributed systems.
  • 5+ years experience as a Senior+ engineer.
  • Proven track record of driving engineering initiatives.
  • Depth in various data storage systems.
  • Experience with Abnormal Security Tech Stack.
  • Nice to have: experience with AI/ML applications.
  • Nice to have: knowledge in building platform offerings.

Requirements

  • Experience in building data intensive, distributed systems.
  • 5+ years experience as a Senior+ engineer.
  • Proven track record of being a Change Agent.
  • Depth in data storage systems.
  • Experience with Python, Golang, Terraform, etc.
