Senior Contracts Counsel - Remote

Overview

Experian is looking for an experienced attorney with several years of experience working with complex agreements for clients to become part of a team building the Experian Employer Services division that is high-growth.

In Short

• Negotiate contracts directly with Experian's business clients.
• Work with a variety of products and services, focusing on employer services.
• Handle professional services agreements, RFPs, RFQs, NDAs, and more.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, finance, sales, and product teams.
• Enforce contracting policies and manage approvals for non-standard terms.
• Assist sales teams with ongoing contract administration.
• Provide training on contract issues and negotiation strategies.
• Facilitate deal execution while minimizing risk to Experian.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree; bar admission in any state.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in-house or in a contracts department.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience negotiating important contract terms.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition and accounting rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DocuSign, and Adobe.
