Overview

The Director/Senior Director, Contracts Counsel will lead the contracts function for Invivyd, working across functions and teams as a trusted partner to proactively facilitate the efficient drafting, negotiation, execution, and tracking of contracts.

• Lead the contracts function for Invivyd.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Implement and manage a contracts management system.
• Advise on contract interpretation and risk exposure.
• Develop and update template agreements and negotiation guidelines.
• Improve contract policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Supervise contract administration support team.
• Collaborate with finance on contract management processes.
• Represent the legal department on special projects.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management.
• Strong analytical skills for complex contracts.
• Understanding of biotechnology and pharmaceutical standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
