Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our General Accounting team. This role is critical in supporting the monthly close process, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

In Short

• Perform monthly close activities including preparation of journal entries.
• Assist in reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and intangible assets supporting schedules.
• Prepare support for quarterly and annual audits.
• Assist in developing and documenting business processes.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Support ad hoc projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with CPA license preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
