Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant at Ergomed Group will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing VAT returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

In Short

• Pay supplier invoices, taxes, and employee expenses.
• Prepare VAT Returns.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.
• Post and reconcile Company bank accounts.
• Post and review intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Account schedules and reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audits.
• Ensure compliance with accepted accounting policies.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Handle sensitive information confidentially.
