Overview

The Sales Development Account Manager focuses on customer acquisition, responsible for searching new potential clients and reaching out to relevant prospects to bring new business opportunities.

In Short

  • Generate and pre-qualify new leads using company resources.
  • Research leads and identify relevant prospects.
  • Approach prospects via e-mail or phone to create new business opportunities.
  • Develop pre and post conference mail shots and follow-ups.
  • Follow up on marketing leads for conversion.
  • Support targeted email campaigns aligned with company targets.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate in sales and marketing strategies with team members.
  • Prepare and lead early engagement presentations with clients.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and yearly targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.
  • Experience in an Inside Sales position in a CRO or clinical trials industry.
  • Experience in developing new business and lead nurturing.
  • Good understanding of Phase I-IV clinical development.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Drive and determination to succeed and exceed targets.
  • Ability to listen and identify customer challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and stay organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships.
