Senior Sales Account Manager - West Coast - Remote

Overview

The Senior Sales Account Manager will work directly with a specific group of customers to define, specify and implement Senko interconnect & passive component solutions. The role involves managing technical relationships and ensuring customer needs are met while achieving business objectives.

In Short

• Work with minimum supervision
• Develop and implement strategic plans for account management
• Maintain knowledge of business, competitors, and industry
• Demonstrate expertise in product lines and technical issues
• Handle high profile accounts and multi-task effectively
• Take ownership of the total sales cycle
• Identify opportunities and propose solutions
• Travel to meet customers (40%-50% of time)
• Support marketing events such as trade shows
• Provide feedback to management on customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience with fiber interconnect components
• Experience in direct sales to OEMs
• Background in fiber optics required
• Ability to travel 50%
