This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans, and programs in support of the US Commercial organization’s business goals. This successful individual will collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix organization with commercial leadership, marketing, sales, and compliance in assessing the training needs and deliverables for the US sales team. In Short

  • Conducts ongoing analysis to understand the learning needs of the Sales organization
  • Develops new hire and incumbent sales training curricula that aligns with our core brand strategies
  • Defines and implements a blended-learning approach consistent with adult learning principle
  • Serve as a consultant to the area sales directors to define the region/market training priorities and resource allocation on an ongoing basis, with a clear and measurable business goal in mind.
  • Outlines training strategy and annual training plan to support field sales achievement through national sales meetings and local regional meetings.
  • Develops the training content and workshops for field sales and other customer-facing roles
  • Develops pull-through materials to support learning retention (e.g., coaching guides and job aides)
  • Manage the review of materials to ensure that training meets compliance, regulatory, legal, and medical requirements.
  • Oversees implementation and delivers all training programs, including new hire backfill training, advanced training, NSMs, and virtual training.
  • Partner with Marketing to provide training on new sales strategies and promotions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/medical device sales
  • Injectable aesthetics experience strongly desired
  • At least 5 years of sales training experience in designing, developing, and facilitating learning
  • High-energy, self-motivated and task oriented.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and build strategic plans that drive business imperatives
  • Excellent organization, presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, delivering high value support to the team.
  • Proficiency in all standard Office computer programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
