Financial Controller DACH - Remote

Overview

The Financial Controller DACH will support portfolio companies and the Everfield Finance Business Partners in daily reporting and analysis activities, ensuring high-quality accounting, reporting, and tax activities.

In Short

• Collaborate on the consolidation process of management reporting according to IFRS.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports according to HGB.
• Conduct tax accounting and reporting, including corporate tax and VAT declarations.
• Perform monthly closing activities and financial accounting tasks.
• Manage account reconciliations and preparation of balance sheets.
• Act as a liaison for internal and external audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Implement and monitor financial controls and internal policies.
• Support the creation of financial models and business cases.
• Optimize internal processes for efficient financial reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in German accounting.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills for complex financial data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
