Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to lead and scale our accounting operations. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with deep experience in full-cycle accounting, controllership, and financial reporting within the U.S.-based companies.

In Short

• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial statements and present reports to CFO.
• Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll, and lead month-end close.
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team.
• Streamline accounting processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Contribute to special projects including financial modelling and ERP implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, minimum 2 years in a Controller role.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in ERP systems (Quickbooks and Sage preferred).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Knowledge in US taxes is a plus.
• Available to work during US hours.
• High integrity and ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
