Overview

The Financial Controller role at Moonshot involves improving financial processes and managing key contracts and reporting requirements to support the organization's mission in tackling online harms.

In Short

• Lead multi-currency consolidation for 5 operating companies.
• Prepare and analyze project profitability and management reports.
• Liaise with project teams on grant/contract rules and billing.
• Support preparation of KPI and financial reports.
• Facilitate annual audit processes.
• Manage one direct report.
• Process and review payroll for multiple countries.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and VAT returns.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Google Workspace and MS Excel.
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
• Experience in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a finance role.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
