Finance Integration Lead - Remote

Overview

The Finance Integration Lead plays a central role in the international Finance Integration Team, responsible for planning, managing, and executing the successful integration of newly acquired companies into the organization, focusing on value realization, transparency, and sustainable performance improvement.

In Short

• Close collaboration with M&A, Operations, and other key functions to develop detailed integration plans focused on Accounting, Billing, and Financial Reporting.
• Management and monitoring of financial systems integration, ensuring system compatibility and smooth transition.
• Further development and standardization of integration guidelines, tools, and playbooks for continuous professionalization of the approach.
• Monitoring integration progress and reporting relevant workstreams and milestones.
• Building and optimizing reporting processes for transparent and timely presentation of financial performance post-integration.
• Development and implementation of change management measures to minimize operational friction.
• Acting as a sparring partner for management teams of acquired companies on all finance-related issues.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA, CIMA).
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the finance environment, preferably in an international M&A/Post-Merger Integration context or similarly complex corporate environment.
• Experience in corporate integrations, joint ventures, or comparable transformation projects.
• Ideally experience in fast-growing technology or SaaS companies.
• Solid knowledge in Financial Operations and accounting according to HGB and IFRS.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive personality with a strong hands-on mentality.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex issues to target audiences.
• Structured, resilient working style in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel to our software companies in the DACH region and to Everfield locations.
