Regional Gift Planner - Remote

Overview

The Regional Gift Planner (RGP) will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and securing planned and current gifts from individuals in support of churchwide ministries, congregations, synods and other ELCA-related ministries.

In Short

• Responsible for planned and current gift solicitation.
• Collaborate with bishops and regional partners.
• Part of a nationwide network of RGPs.
• Work from home with occasional travel required.
• Full-time, regular, exempt position.
• Must reside within the USA or D.C.
• Engage with prospective donors and institutions.
• Develop partnerships with congregational leaders.
• Steward relationships with ELCA Foundation partners.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Commitment to the mission of the ELCA.
• Five years of experience in resource development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently from home.
• Experience with planned giving instruments.
